Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Screeny (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Screeny is an application for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that transforms screenshots and screen recordings into device mockups and demo videos. The App processes images and videos locally on your device.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Purchases, Credits & Subscriptions

Screeny offers optional in-app purchases: consumable export credits, auto-renewing Screeny Pro subscriptions, and a one-time lifetime purchase. All payments are processed by Apple, and purchases are subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Consumable credits are tied to your install and are not refundable by us. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Screeny and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The copyright of any used imagery, such as device bezels and frames, belongs to their respective creators. Apple, iPhone, and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc. Screeny is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Apple Inc.

Background photos provided through the built-in Unsplash search are subject to the Unsplash License.

Mockups you create using the App are yours to use as you see fit, subject to these Terms and any applicable third-party rights.

User Content

You retain ownership of any screenshots, images, or videos you process through the App. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you process through the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Screeny shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Screeny and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
