Create Your First Mockup

From raw screenshot to polished mockup takes about three seconds. Here’s the full tour.

The fastest way: the share sheet

  1. Take a screenshot on your iPhone
  2. Tap the preview, then tap Share
  3. Choose Screeny

Your screenshot opens straight in the editor, already framed.

Tip: If Screeny doesn’t appear in your share sheet, scroll right, tap More, and enable it.

Or import from the app

Open Screeny and tap + to import from your Photos library or Files. Both images and screen recordings work.

Style it

The editor bottom bar has everything:

  • Background — solid colors, gradients (including a custom gradient builder), a photo from your library, or search Unsplash without leaving the app. Add blur if you like.
  • Bezel — pick your device (iPhone or iPad) and its color, and toggle the clean 9:41 status bar.
  • Zoom — scale from 0–200% and pin the device to the top, center, or bottom of the canvas.
  • Ratio — 1:1 for Instagram, 4:5 for portrait posts, 9:16 for Stories, and more. Every ratio also works in landscape.
  • Presetssave the whole setup so next time is one tap.

Pinch the canvas to zoom in and check details — it works just like Photos.

Export

Tap Export and your mockup saves as a high-resolution PNG — with a transparent background if that’s what you chose. Exporting costs credits; previewing and editing are always free.

No watermark. Ever.
