Video Mockups & Keyframe Zoom

Screeny treats video as a first-class citizen. Import a screen recording and it gets everything a screenshot gets — device frame, clean status bar, styled background — plus animation.

Import a recording

Record your screen (Control Center → Screen Recording), then import it into Screeny from Photos, Files, or the share sheet. MP4, MOV, and M4V all work. The editor shows a looping live preview.

Add keyframe zooms

Open the timeline and tap to add a keyframe where you want the camera to push in:

  1. Drag the keyframe block to set when the zoom happens and how long it lasts
  2. Set the zoom level and the anchor point — the spot the camera pushes toward
  3. Pick an easing style: Smooth, Linear, Ease In, or Ease Out

Zooms ramp in, hold, and ramp out smoothly — the same “camera push-in” style you see in professional app demos. You can also animate a still screenshot this way to turn it into a short video clip.

Export

Choose your quality — standard (30 fps) or high (60 fps) — and export:

  • MP4 for social media, the App Store, or anywhere else
  • MOV with a transparent background when your background is set to transparent — ready to composite in Final Cut, Premiere, or After Effects

Rendering runs on the GPU, so even long recordings export in seconds. A video export costs 3 credits.
