Presets

A preset captures your entire mockup configuration — device, color, status bar, background, zoom, position, and ratio — under one name.

Save a preset

1. Style a mockup the way you like it
2. Open the Presets tab
3. Tap Save and give it a name

Each preset shows a live thumbnail of its look.

Apply a preset

Open the Presets tab and tap one. Every setting applies instantly — to a single screenshot or a whole batch.

Synced with iCloud

Presets sync automatically through your personal iCloud, along with your custom colors and gradients. Save a preset on your iPhone, use it on your iPad or Mac.

Presets are how you talk to an agent

If you drive Screeny from Claude Code or Cursor over MCP, presets stop being a shortcut and become the vocabulary. An agent can list your presets and apply one by name, so “frame this folder with my ‘App Store’ preset” replaces spelling out a device, color, background, zoom, and ratio in prose every time.

That makes the name matter: call presets after where the images are going — “iPhone 17 App Store”, “Instagram Story”, “Blog header” — and an agent picks the right one from a plain request. See Prompting Screeny for the rest.
